Dash Light removal

Post by kajunmisfitt » Sun Apr 03, 2016 2:47 pm

Hello Everyone,
I have sold my GL1100 (1982) and I bought a GL1200 (1984) and I don't have a manual to read too find out how to get the dash apart so I can change the lights that are burned out I am checking for fuses. But I have no lights on the rear trunk or bottom light bar. So I am wondering if they are working together. So if someone can kind of walk me threw this I would appreciate it. I was also thinking of replacing the lights with LED light but I am not sure what the numbers are for the bulbs, If someone has these numbers please let me know what they are. Thanks

Dash out. Well its been couple week now. And age has caught up with me. But you need to remove the clock if you have one. Speaker grills/maybe speakers? My windshield is off and has been. But you may have to remove to get to some screws there as well. I know its hell to get old...remembering crap.
