beats me that the sight says download a free manuel but the only way to get a manuel is to pay helms 40.00 dollars for one this sight didn't use to work this way cause I,ve gotton manuels for the 1000,and the 1100 but now to get a manuel I,ve got to pay helm 40.00 bucks what happened to this sight didn't use to b this way

Goldwingdocs used to host them, but was threatened legal action, so he took them down.
Small price to pay to keep this site going.
You can find them all over the web and most still have the Goldwingdocs watermark.

You can thank Mother Honda for that, they told WingAdmin to take them down or face a law suit. Well i was typing this and notice the post added just before I hit submit.

Hello out there well I know these manuals cost a couple of bucks
But my question is which is the better manual to have I'm definitely a novice
can do some stuff but don't want to get lost in complicated wiring diagrams
But I want to learn more i think I have patience thanks

The Honda service manual is definitely the best. You might also want to look at the Honda Common Service Manual. It covers a LOT of basic procedures.
