Correct Tire Pressure?

Postby rjlv25 » Sun Apr 17, 2016 2:28 pm

Guys,
Where can I find the correct tire pressure to run on my Interstate? The front is a Dunlop E3 and the rear is an Elite II. I read somewhere that the E3 should be about 40 PSI. Will that work for both? Most of the time it's just me riding.

There are Max. tire pressures on the side wall of each tire. 40-42 sounds about right. Just dont go over their recommendation. I use 42 psi front and rear on my 2003 K1200GT BMW. It weighs about the same as your GL1200.

Those tires I've run 36-38 on front and 37-40 on the rear, good luck

Thanks, guys. I see where they recommend 40 PSI max. They could have made the writing just a little larger.
