Postby Alemayehu » Fri Apr 22, 2016 8:33 am

Hello every one just had some issue of my 1987 Gold wing gl 1200 after I did top up with dot 4 break fluid and bleed the clutch then I sow some break fluid on the floor in the morning from the rear engine. It is not oil from the engine but it is definitely pure clutch fluid. No loosen bolts nor the bleeder. The bike has done 42000 miles I don't know what to do.please help I hope some one may have the same challenge.
God bless!

Time to rebuild the slave cylinder.Fluid is bypassing the seal and leaking out the weak hole more than likely.I wouldn't leave it too long as it can possibly get into the engine oil.
If I'da known it would last this long,I'da taken better care of it.

Thank you Fatwing Chris I did the job after a lot of reading and searching.Any ways I pick a kit for 1984 Honda VF1000 F Interceptor from local MC shop fits perfect since then no leak and I feel the clutch lever has good pressure after bleeding.I got the information from ebay advert and take the risk.If I order and thing for Goldwing I know the price would be 100 fold.Thank you and God bless!
