Gl1200 Steering Head Bearing Questions

Postby landisr » Mon May 02, 2016 9:31 am

I need to know the part number(s) for the tapered roller bearings for the steering head on an '86 Interstate. I have searched the forum here, and also looked at the parts fische at Ron Ayers and one other site. The blow-up view of the steering stem shows only one bearing and it doesn't appear to be tapered. Can someone help me out?

Many thanks.

Ron in AZ

I'd look at the All Balls replacement bearings. Many people (myself included) have been using them for years with excellent results.
