Remove that little chrome cover just above the heads 4-5" long. maybe 2-3 screws holding. Takes a 18mm deep socket or plug wrench in tool kit if you have one. I find them a pain to use. I use anti seize on the treads cause of the aluminum heads keeps from stripping out the threads. :o

there is a chrome cover right under the fairing,on top of the valve cover, that comes off then you will see the plug caps and rubber boots, just pull them and there you go

Mine have been off for about off for about 4 month now, But looks like there must be 3 screws per side. They should just come off. May have to use a BFH on yours. Get a book you're going to need it, if you're going to keep the bike. If you have the little owners manual that came with the bike from factory. Has a lot of that information too.

Blow any dirt out from around the plugs before removing them so as to not have any small gravel or road bits into the engine .

Did you remove 2 screws per cover? One screw is holding the cover only (to the front of cover), the other holds the fairing and cover (above the cover below fairing), cover slips behind the fairing lower.
