GL1200A California model ?

Postby MadMark » Sat May 14, 2016 12:34 pm

Greetings, last fall I picked up a 87 Aspencade. It's running rough so planning on rebuilding The Carbs! Looks like it's California bike has some extra emission parts to it. Was wondering if I can eliminate them or are these special carbs? I got set of carbs off a 84 Will they work? Any info or Ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks,Mark

You can safely cut off and throw away the California emissions parts without affecting anything except the amount of emissions put out and reducing the weight of the bike. :)
