wiring problem

Postby Smaltz79 » Mon May 30, 2016 9:11 pm

need some help
changed head gaskets and my bike would not start. Jumped it off and notice that a hot lead off the positive that lead to a plug was very hot. the plug was to a round fuse. it has read wire, green wire with a yellow strip, green wire with a red stripe & a yellow wire with a red strip. had a white tag 32100-MG9-7??
last two numbers missing. plug is shot. has anyone had this problem? can i buy a new plug. battery fully charge. but would only run if i jumped it off. had the bike for 3 years. really strange. i moved this because it always sticks out past the battery. wires appear ok but not at the plug

just looked in my book that it is the plug to the main fuse. is that re-placable?
