SEi tail pipe ?

Postby Rusty Bike » Wed Jun 01, 2016 8:12 pm

I noticed the last 6" of the tail pipe ( the turned down section) is riveted on. Is this the exhaust baffle? What happens if one would drill out those rivets and pull that section off? Would the bike be louder. Would the CFI system make adjustments to keep the
fuel/air mixture correct? What say ye O wise ones? Thanks...Rusty

Thank you Admin. Now the question is...Is the EFI system working correctly? I have only ridden the bike 30 miles or so. The plugs look great. Burning very nicely. As a mater of fact, everything I'v gotten into looked real good save some funky electrical work by the PO on the dreded yellow stator wires, and a bad main ground cable. I think I'll just hold this thought till I get more time on the bike...Rusty

Not positive on SEI, but my Aspy didn't come with down turned pipes. That was an aftermarket bling thing.
