Carb slide diaphragm

Postby Cyborg » Mon Jun 20, 2016 5:20 pm

Read a bunch about these guys and their non availability...

I disassembled the carbs and found a couple issues that are fixable, but whoever reassembled them last pinched two of the diaphragms, one not bad, the other damaged the rubber (see pic).

Do I have any options to save mine? If not is there still a source anywhere to get new ones, or am I stuck to eBay and hope they're ok?

Thanks all

Looks like you can buy them new with the slide for around $65 USD.

Saber shows out of stock.
Randakk apparently used to sell just the diaphragms to be glued on.

I can't find another source, where did you find them? :p

My bad, Saber was the one. Will the GL1500 be the same? Just the rubber maybe? I guess everyone is out or no longer available. Partzilla or Saber ( sorry dont know which site I was on) seems to have a house brand made by Barracuda Bike Parts, for the GL1200 part # 82-741 (no more information.

Nope, my carbs are fine, but I used them on a Yamaha I had...
