First the bike sat up over 6 years has 52,000 miles, replaced battery and it was running good. Changed the oil and filter . Got it out yesterday was riding along fine on the interstate and the motor just shut down. No noise or nothing. This is a 86 Aspencade sei fuel injected.. Took the fuel pump off and cleaned the inline screen out, it did have a lot of junk it. Hooked the fuel pump straight to battery to see if it was working , it would only click once and that was when I put the hot wire on it. So I think that means its bad ? ANY HELP ANYONE ?? Also help on a replacement fuel pump would help..

yup, probably the pump, you should drain/clean the tank and fuel lines all the way to injectors. You MAY....I said MAY be able to get pump running again if you remove the pump, place it protected the a vice or some means of holding it and using two small leads from a battery, try powering it correctly, then reverse leads, keep bumping it back and forth like this a few times, you may get it to run, cost nothing to try.
