exhaust pipe swap

have a 1987 GL1200 Interstate, I want it a little louder, not put me def loud, maybe a bit throaty... looking at some straight Harley pipes but would I have to rejet my carbs to change the pipes ????

If you're looking for just a tiny bit, Harley slip on mufflers should fit the bill, and you can get like new take offs for $50 or less. Not much noise, just a little throatier. No need to rejet. Seems sort of sacrilegious though, putting Harley parts onto a Goldwing ;)

I habe a local guy selling pipes for 5 bucks a pop and 3 bucks a pop for brackets...

I just looked on ur profile, ur not that far, I emailed the guy, waiting on directions but he's supposed to be here in Watertown, he has an ad on Craigslist, search motorcycle pipes
