Starter relay question

Postby walker70 » Fri Aug 19, 2016 3:56 pm

Hi,I have gotten a new starter relay to go on my Goldwing and when it got here I compared it to the old one and I found that the one I got is a 15 amp and the oem is a 30 amp and in looking into this I find that most of the replacement relays are 15 amp and all descriptions say it will work, was wondering if this was right,I do not want to use it if it will smoke something. :D

Is it supplied by Honda or an aftermarket unit? If Honda, I might trust it, if aftermarket I would be afraid of future problems.

Hi,it is an aftermarket unit that I got on ebay and other than it being 15 amps instead of a 30 amp like the oem one everything looks the same,so was just curious about it.
