Was looking at a bike recently. It's an 85 with 130k miles. Guys asking 950 for it because it randomly stopped starting up. Guy says he believes it to be the pulse generator.
Couple questions, 1 is this a lot of miles for the 1200 motors. I'm not real familiar with them as much as the 1500. 2 does this sound familiar to anyone and if so is this an expensive fix to get going? Just trying to figure out if it might be worth the money or time. The bike is in amazing shape. Been extremely well maintained.

I have seen some Wings go 200,000+. So milage isnt bad. Price is good for a well taken care of bike. If it is the pulse generator? Easy fix, I did my 85. Have to remove radiator, change the belts at same time while you're there. Coolant, belts, pulse Gen. maybe $200?
