I had no problems until I used the fork lock on 85 Asp, parked it used the fork lock and now have a shot some where. It's not enough to melt the fuse, but to drain the in a couple of hours. Any suggustion would be helpful.

>>>now this may be stupid, but a couple months back and I was still not familiar with my "new" 1200 a beasty...well I parked at the Cleveland VA Hospital inside and locked my forks as you did. Came back out some 2+hours later and someone told me at my bike I had left my radio going and a couple lights on. Well, I did and as it so happensthe last before the last stop gives us locked forks, ANDa sort of parking light and in my case the radio as well--sort of like in the accessory position. I am not saying for surethis could have happened to you as well. Had not someone so informed me, there was the possibility of a run-down battery condition. Fortunately for myselfit only drained me minimally and I did start. Like I said, this is just a one off experience...

This also happend to me back in Aug. I didn't want to put the old girl away so I locked the forks and covered her up. "This was dew to it being my daughters 21st birthday." So I was a little snickered." The next day she wouldn't start or even light a light. I am betting I left it on Acc. because it has not happened since. It is very easy to hit acc. thinking it's all the way locked. If you haven't had a problem since then, most likely thats what happened.
How many times do I have to tell ya,,, The right tool for the right job!
