ok, got the timing straight, but now, when i crank it, it idles real rough and it won't take the fuel when i try to throttle up, is this fuel from sitting up, or carbs, or maybe both, will this seafoam help?

Now it's time to make sure the carbs are in sync. Check to make sure all the vacuum lines are connected. If the bike sat for a long time you maybe able to clean out the carbs with a strong treatment of Seafoam or MMO. But if you still have a hesitation problem when it warms up, you may have to clean the carbs by removing them to make sure all the jets and passages are clear. The slow speed jets are real fine and plug just from dried residue in the carbs. Everthing right it should purr like a kitten and run like a tiger.

Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.

Thanks for that input, I really think now that is the problem, especially on one cylinder. Today I removed each plug wire as the bike was running, all were good but one, on this one, I left the plug attached to the wire and grounded it, the fire was good. I removed all plugs and checked compression, all had 150 lbs. So, ny thinking now is carb. problem. Where can seafoam be purchased at? Thanks again

You can find Seafoam at Wal-Mart or Napa auto parts. Sure others must carrie it also. Also check to make sure the choke is working or adjusted right. If choke is not used when cold the motor will spit and cough till warm.
