Holy Macarel, that looks like an alternator off an old '70's Chevy V8! Chromed, too. Most conversions use the little alternators off of import cars.....
They say 98% of all Hardleys ever made are still on the road..... The other 2% made it home.
(I stole this from somebody on another GW site...)

Well its not gonna matter anymore turns out the ignition coils are good which means its ns sensor or pulse gen or cdi box none of which i can afford even if i could find one. I now have a lawn ornament i paid 90 bucks to have new tires installed on. So yay.

Ok did anyone else know this thing had a computer that would throw fault codes? Woulda saved me about 400$ in parts to know that and just check the fault codes. Its the GL sensor thats open circuit. So i ordered the camshaft position sensors (GR/GL) and hopefully this fixes the problem and she starts again. I had ordered this same part before but got a bad one. Also ended up ordering the wrong CDI box so thats just a waste of money as i cant return it. And ordered ignitors as well so im gonna have a few spare parts for this thing. Also the GR/GL sensors i ordered also are coming with an Ns sensor too so if that one goes bad on me ill have a spare.
