I originally thought the "clicking" was coming from the hydraulic lifters, but after listening closer and feeling the fuel pump the clicking is coming from the fuel pump. Does anyone know if this is a common occurrence, or is it starting to fail? I did put a carburetor cleaner, octane booster and a fuel stablizer in the fuel all at the same time and I'm wondering if my lack of knowlede (ignorance) could be the cause??? If the fuel pump is about to quit how about the lowest price place to go to purchase a new one? I understand from a repair shop that they cost around $168.00.
