I would like to know if the J&M jmcb2003cb with passenger intercom will work on the GL1200. I have only seen them on the 1500.

Thanks, when I got the bike it did not have a CB, so I will be starting from scratch. I'm trying to decide between the J&M and the Midland 75-822 (the J&M looks easer to operate)

I am just doing the conversion adding the CB and Panasonic RM 1200. I just purchase all the stuff off of ebay. Got lucky I have enough stuff to do two bikes except for the radio and CB unit of which I only have one each of and all for under 300 bucks. Some guy had stuff listed under some car parts he had for sale and I picked up all the junction boxes,Amps, cords ,switches,Radio mount,clock/lock etc for 2 bucks a piece. Be careful when buying CB's. I have seen some listed on Ebay that do not have the Volume control nor do they have the
power supply/Transceiver or junction box on them Just the face plate.. I bought mine complete for 100 but I have seen the ones that are not complete go for way more then that. I have discovered that pretty much anything between 84-87 will works as far as components. Sierra electronics does some good work for a reasonable price and they still repair these things. Now I have to tear it apart. Hahahahaha.

:D
