gl1200A air compressor question

Postby evapanou » Wed Dec 08, 2010 11:36 am

The air compressor of the gl1200A works only when the speedometer shows zero speed. What should one do, to disable this and be able to adjust the air pressure front and rear while riding?
I cannot find what wire gives the speed information to the pump on the colored electric diagram of the clymer manual for this bike.Any suggestion anybody?

Not sure your going to get much help on bypassing a safety feature on the wing.

Thank you Tricky for your reply! I understand that my question was a difficult one, maybe nobody has done it. Of course safety is my main concern when riding, but we are taking our right hand from the handlbar, each one for different reasons and anyway, for 26 years now, I stop and pressurize the rear before the curvy roads, and I stop again to release the pressure before entering the straights.Of course you can adjust the pressure before riding off, but the Wing is so smooth with no air front and rear when riding solo!
