1985 Ujoint

Postby HALBUDD » Thu Dec 09, 2010 8:21 pm

I picked up this new to me 1985 goldwing aspy back in Aug. P.O. had told me that ujoint was going out. I took it to get it fixed at a local bike shop, hears what was left of it once the mech. got out. I dont know how you could tear one up so bad, bike only had 56k on it. P.O. must have rode it hard. Had ujoint replaced bike runs good now and no other problems,so far so good, hears a pic. Hal

Could not say for sure when I went to look at the bike I could not see the ujoint but I was aware that the ujoint was bad. When I picked up the bike from the shop the ujoint was as you see it. Dont know what became of the rest of it,but looking at it,it was pretty worn on one side. Hal
