WHAT BATTERY CHARGER !

Postby wrightwing » Mon Jan 31, 2011 6:32 pm

I just bought ,a fully automatic SPEED/CHARGE maintainer, by Schumacher instead of a manual one. The guy

at advance auto, said this would be the best, as it would shut off after the battery is fully charged, and

maintain a charge. Is this the best for my bike!

Everyone will tell you their's is the best. It all depends on what you like. I have had no problems with the chargers from Sears or even some of are local tool dealers. As long as it charges what it says it is charging and shuts down after fully charged you'll be ok. My daughters boy friend works for Advance and I asked him about it. He was telling me all that he sells and says Schumacher is a good charger. And he knows better that to trick me :lol: If you know what I mean :D
How many times do I have to tell ya,,, The right tool for the right job!

The guy said, difference would be, that the manual, would not shut off, and would want to continue

to charge! Thanks.

Does anyone know,what size the fuel line is on an 87 interstate.

Depends on which fuel line you want.
Between fuel and vacuum, I think Honda uses:
3.5mm / 1/8 or 5/32";
4.5mm / 3/16";
5.5mm / 7/32";
7.5mm / 5/16";
These are close. The 3.5 is vacuum and the 4.5 and 5.5 are fuel.

Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.
