Lever replacements...

Post by NJSam » Sun Feb 13, 2011 11:00 pm

Hey folks, just wondering what I could replace the stock GL 1200 brake and clutch levers with that would make the reach a little shorter. I don't have short fingers, but the reach is too far for me. I appreciate the input! Sam

It would be tough... you could heat the levers and bend them in a bit, but you'd then not have the ability to do a full clutch or brake stroke, meaning you couldn't completely de-clutch or fully brake.

Without changing the geometry between the lever pivot and the master cylinder plunger, I can't think of a simple way of doing it while retaining the full use of both clutch and brake.
