Hello, gl1200ltd owner

Postby Long Hair » Fri Apr 22, 2011 4:20 pm

Just found this site and will have to check it out some more. I have an 85 limited edition which is giving me some headaches with issues to do with a missfire and backfire. Not sure if it is to do with the fuel or a vacuum leak. I did have a fuel system light come on last time I was working on the bike, so went and looked at the computer and seen 1 light on and one flashing but missplaced my manual so i dont know what it meant.

Which light is flashing? The one by the 'w' will come on with an error code. From left to right you have ....3..2..1..0.....w....... on the left side of the computer.

Hi Long Hair, Let us know which lights are coming up on your computer- under the rear seat area. Make sure you can view
the whole panel as some lights are or may be hiding behind a metal post.
I'm still having problems with my 85LTD1200. I think I need an engine crank sensor.

Welcome to the site, sorry no help here unless it is an 1800.
Light travels faster than sound, that is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak!
