My GL 1200 misses / hesitates at approximately just below 3000 RPM. I changes sparkplug wires and plugs and tested the circuits with a multi-meter and found no Faults. Has anyone had this problem?

Not yet.I haven't got mine on the road yet.I suspect,from your description,it may be fuel related and not electrical.The most common complaints usually come back to carb problems.Most people will suggest a can of Sea Foam in the fuel as a first attempt to clear fuel ports and restore normal mixtures.If that doesn't help,then carb hand cleaning and syncing is in order.

Mine does the same thing and I have tried carb cleaner in the fuel, I even tried high octane racing gas mixed with regular gas and it still has a hesitation, I had the carbs synced a few years ago but just last year this started... Most people told me its from the acholol mixed with the gas we buy now... I am puzzled...

Mine started it a few weeks ago. I thought it was fuel related. Gas now days sucks. I add 104 to a tank of gas which helps some. I also have the occa backfire on warm startup. But I still can't get my gas cap to vent. tried everything but drilling a small hole in it.
How many times do I have to tell ya,,, The right tool for the right job!
