84 Aspencade Running Boards Help!

Postby chitown2010 » Tue May 17, 2011 2:49 pm

Hi All,

I got a sweet deal on a "well broken in" set of Markland running boards for my 84 Aspencade. They are in OK shape but are missing the threaded shaft and related hardware that goes through the engine to hold the front of each side on, and maybe more pieces.

Does any have a PDF of the install guide for this thing, or could give me a general idea of how I would fabricate the missing shaft? Diameter and length would help. I think that's the major missing piece from what I can see.

I'll post some pix if I need to.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks for the quick response bober - off to the hardware store for me!

I assume that I'll need to support the engine to remove the existing one - correct?
