Turn Signals

Post by gad1962 » Thu May 26, 2011 5:46 pm

I have a 1984 goldwing aspencade and I went to ride it and the turn signals are flashing at will, I tried to turn them right and left but they get faster. When the switch is in the off position they are like emergency flashers. .

It may just be that the emergency flasher switch or wiring is shorted.Unplug the emergency flasher to see if it returns to normal turn signals. If it does, look for pinched wires in or near the switch.
I would get it acting up and loosen the screws that mount the switch assembly.
