how to remove/exchange fuel filter on GL1200?

fuel filter seems to be screwed/clamp to bottom of gas tank and cant figure out how to remove it. Would appreciate some guidance on removing fuel filter. thanks

Frist turn the fuel off you can loosen the nut holding the fuel filter with a extension and ratchet 10mm I think. I took the fuel lines from the pump and from the gas tank,put the clamp around the new filter and then put the fuel lines on it. You should be able to slide it back in and bolt it back in,then hook your line to the fuel pump and to the gas tank not to hard of a job. good luck Hal

Thanks! That help alot. The filter is working fine, so now what I need is a Fuel Pump. I,m looking for original, even if used. Any ideas where I might find one. THeres a couple on the internet but getting no one to respond at aftermarketgoldwingparts.com

I've had problems with Service Honda - they eventually do ship the parts they sell, but sometimes it takes weeks and weeks.

I've been using Cyclemax for OEM parts lately, their prices are very good, and service is impeccable.
