Windshield and buffeting

Post by Mooseman » Thu Jun 09, 2011 11:40 am

I use to have a problem with wind buffeting from the rear of my helmet till I installed the vent.
My passanger says she is getting beat up from the sides. What are your passanger comments on the tall (Tulsa) windshield and or those that are wider than stock?
Thanks for any comments.

Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.

Hi, On the 95 1500 I previously owned, I installed the tallest and widest tulsa available, My wife used to ride with Me then, Wind or buffeting was not a problem for Her. I ride the 1200 with the stock shorty I don,t mind since I always ride solo. If that same Anderson Bay window is available for the 1200 go for it, Except You might want to look up a previous post about melting dashes.
