1985 1200 stereo

Ok I'm still fighting with my stereo. First off it will always show the radio station.with that said more often than not it won't make noise. Sometimes say in the garage it will work fine for a minute or two or eleven then nothing. It seems to be worse when it's hot and I live in Texas .

These radios, when they do fail, often start showing symptoms more when they get hot. I'd call Sierra Electronics and talk to one of their techs - they'll likely have you send it in, they will diagnose and fix it, and send it back to you. They usually charge a flat rate of $100 to fix them.

Thank you. I will send it to them. New to wings still learning. The only dumb question is one that never sees daylight. :D
