Information and questions on GL1200 Goldwings (1984-1987)

I just purchased a 84 GL1200 and am trying to pre-set my favorite channels on the radio but cant figure it out....I would appreciate any help if anyone knows how to get this accomplished....thanks....

I don't know if this will work,but try this.First tune to a station,then push and hold down the button you want it on.On my radio it takes about 3 or 4 seconds for it to lock that channel to the button.Scan or tune to the next station and hold down another button.It's worth a try.

If it is like my 86 - you tune to your favorite station and push the button on the far right (maybe the next to last one) and use it to lock in your number 1 or 2 or whatever button of choice. Wish I was not so old and could remember these things better.

Look at the manuals on this site I have seen some radio user manuals they could be the same type of setup as your radio hope it helps. Hal
