I have it on mine. The tires can be quite noisey depending on the road surface. I can make it howel in a turn.
Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.

I am going to assume that you have a Dunlop EIII tire on the rear.

Well known for howling in corners.

Personally I think they're screaming because they know they have to ride some straight sections and don't like it very well :)

have irc wild flare on the rear and the front plan on replacing them in the winter. what would be a good set of tires for this bike.

Yep tire noise is normal. A tire under inflated will cause it to even be a bit louder. I'd also check the wheel bearings for a peace of mind. I do bearing checks as part of my every winter teardown.

I recently had this happen to mine as well. 84 Aspencade, my cause was overflation of the tires. It didn't do it for almost a year, then after checking the pressure and adding some air at a friends house that had is own compressor and such, is when it started. After that ride, I went home and checked it with my guage and it was bout 10lbs to much. So from this I would say it could be normal, under-over inflation. Just my thoughts though.

IT'S ONLY MAGIC WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IT WORKS! ! !
