Sounds like a good find, But after 20 plus years of sitting, Alot of work is headed Your way, The bike needs to be tended to wheel to wheel, Carbs have to be removed and cleaned and rebuilt nothing is going to clean old varnish off except a lot of elbow grease, The gas tank can be internally coated with a resin that is made for rusty tanks, The braking system fully flushed, cooling system, Clutch, The list Goes on and on, Get a manual and take it one step at a time, Good luck to You and be patient.

If the bike has been setting since 88 miles wont matter the belts are old, they may look brand new but they wont show any damage they can just snap. You can get new belts for $15. apeice at napa or even on line,I just would not buy them from a dealer. There not hard to put on and if you already have the bike a part its a lot easier. Just my 2 cents but Id change the belts. good luck Hal
