adjusting suspension without control panel

my 87 interstare GW doesnt have the suspension adjustment console there is just a plate where the controls used to be. how do i put air into the suspension. is there an input valve that i can just fill up like a schrader valve or something

If your 87 is like my 84 then air can be added to the forks by a "bicycle"pump.The valves usually have a cap on them.The front is located on the right fork a few inches down from the top.The rear is located under the right side cover,near the rear brake master cylinder.
Everyone runs different air pressure.Mine sets at 6 psi front and 30 psi rear.

thanks, i will check that out in the morning. i seem to be bottoming out in the rear when i hit some bumps on my dirt road and when riding two up. this site rocks
