Radiator overflow drain line

Postby pilcher92503 » Wed Nov 02, 2011 10:45 pm

I am trying to put my bike back together after letting a supposed mechanic replace the stator....He got the stator put back but there are a bunch of odds and ends I am trying to run down......Can anyone tell me how to route the plastic overflow line from the radiator overflow.....the line that is attached to the overflow neck????

Would appreciate some direction....

tnx

Ed

Mine goes straight back along the inside of the false tank, then down behind the triangular frame member, and hangs just below the engine near the output shaft. Whether that's correct or the same as your 1200, I don't know. As long as it's sloping downhill, not near any hot engine/exhaust parts, and positioned so that it drips directly onto the ground (not on the frame, exhaust or anything else) you should be good.
