swaping fairings

Postby Thundercloud » Wed Dec 16, 2009 8:48 am

Had a small accident with my 85 GL 1200 distroyed the fairing. This is an interstate I have found a real nice Aspencade fairing complete, all the information i can find says that it will swap so long as i swap the speedo drive to the digital consol.
Any one know if there will be any problems I am looking in the mannuals but still not sure.

AFAIK it should fit, you will have to put your instruments in, like you said.

There are 3 part numbers 64200-MG9-930ZA 64200-MG9-930ZB 64200-MG9-930ZC I would think that the difference might be the side lights for the LTD for one of them but the basic fairing itself should fit.

Thanks for the reply I was able to buy an aspencade set up but it appears that the digital cluster will not work so i am having to remove the wiring harnesses from both install the interstate harness find a new analog cluster and try to wire in the raido.
