I have a 1985 Goldwing can someone tell me the settings on the radio to get intercom thru the head sets. I get sound from the radio to headset but can't figure out how to get intercom between driver and passenger.

If it's like mine, there isn't a button. It's a VOX system , or voice activated. The control panel has 2 knobs for the intercom, one is volume and the other is vox level.Set the volume mid range, start talking and turn the vox level until your voice mutes the radio and comes over the speakers.

You may need a junction box that interconnects the headsets. Not a stock item, must be purchased separately.

I have a 87 Aspencade that has after-market J&M CB and stock radio and cassette, how does the intercom work, is it the same as you mentioned? I have never got it to work, dont know how or what to do to get it to work. I have tried to talk to wife with helments on, but nothing! Maybe I havent done something right.........any ideas?

I ran into the same problem with my 86 Aspencade.
I installed a NOS CB unit and I had issues because there was no junction box installed with the bike, and it does not come with the CB units in the original kits.
They show up on ebay every once in a while, but they are becoming harder to find.
I purchased a spare..... "just in case"....
