Two issues, having trouble locating Front fork seals for 85 GL1200, and having an issue, that Choke has disengaged and is causing the engine to race, RPM's!

Have a look at PartsnMore - they have fork seals for the GL1200, and they're in Canada, so no customs fees for you.

Is your choke cable broken?

The choke cable if disengaged or broken should allow the fuel enricher circuit to self seat. You can actually work the enrichers from the top and back side of the carburator. When I was having issues with mine I would work the one on #3 carb. They are all connected by linkage. Sometimes that linkage needs to be lubercated. Hope this helps a little.
Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.
