Speed Sensor for 86 1200a aspencade

Cable(?) that goes from hub to speed sensor box is broken. Does anyone know where I can buy a speed sensor (Honda stopped making them) new or used? Or does anyone have suggestions on fixing this cable.

You can search ebay for used or Saber Cycle for new. A bit pricey for new though.
Good luck.

You say cable? My 86-A has a two electrical wires that go between my sensor and the control box. If it's a broken wire I would splice it. If it's broke inside the sensor. Take the housing apart and see if you can soldier a new wire in.
Other wise watch e-bay. I avoid Saber Cycle myself.
Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.

Yeah, I heard bad things about Saber Cycle too. I just gave him the link to see what a new one will cost. It was also the only place listed that has them in stock.

Yea I checked the source where I bought my last one and they no longer show in the books.

Enjoy the ride. They are all good, just some better than others.
