gl1500 surging

I've replaced all the bad vacuum lines and rubber couplers.
It idles fairly smooth but just sounds a bit rough. At 1000 rpm, there is a little surge, maybe 100 rpm or so.As I idle it up,the surging gets worse, till it hits around 2500 or so,then smooths out.

I did notice that at 1500 rpm, there is fuel being delivered from the MAIN jet.A noticeable amount too.
I believe that the Idle jet is clear because I can tighten each one and kill that side at a idle.
What I think it that the "above idle ports, you know, the 4 little holes right at the throttle valve, are plugged up.
This is the cause of the off idle stumble and poor fuel delivery in the same range. The engine it trying to get fuel from there and not,so with a little more throttle it draws from the main jet.

Does this make sense????It's gonna take a whole day just to look at them.

Solved the problem.I caused it,kinda.
I used a small amount of Permatex#2 around the bowl seal(as I have done years ago)
The ethanol gas dissolved it and near plugged the idle jet. This created one very lean carb and the engine would surge to get the gas needed. Here the pix and video.
