Elite 3 tire pressure

Hello, I just replaced my front tire on my 97 GL 1500se with an elite 3. the recomended pressure on the tire is 41# but the manual recommends 33 Which should i go by? I feel like i should run what the manufacturer recommends. Any thoughts? see ya on the road

The 33 lbs is for the original tire way back when. The E3 wasn't around then. 41 is the recommended pressure for most newer tires.

38f and 41r running 33 causes poor handling

The 41psi is the MAX air pressure for carrying the MAX load of weight the tire can handle. On the 1500's there is a chart on the left side of the frame for tire pressures. Might look on the frame.
