Information and questions on GL1500 Goldwings (1988-2000)

My 89 has the dreaded hesitation problem off idle. It's an 89 with 154k that I have owned since Dec 2011. I replaced all the vac hoses and what an improvement. I'm not that comfortable with tearing down and rebuilding the carbs but here is my thoughts: Get some carbs from a 94 and have them cleaned and rejetted with the 60 pilot and 158 secondary and float level at 7.5mm. When I go to replace the old carbs with the new rebuilt 94, will all the vac hoses match up or am I going to run into problem? Any help from all you carb guru's out there would be appreciated.
