Lighting Question

;) Hi all
I have a 1999 Goldwing and would like to know how or when the Clearance Lights either side of the Head lights come on , how you turn then on or do they come on when you turn on the igniation as mine are not working at all . I have replaced the bulbs ,checked wiring ,checked all the fuzes i can find and still no luck so any help would be great thank you :?

on my 97 they come on with the headlights..you try to meter the socket and see if there is juice to that point and work backwards to the switch for headlights..lots of plastic to remove to do that but....
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

They are called Position Lights in the Honda manuals, and they are hooked to the same circuit that runs the side marker lights, handlebar lights, and all of the lights that turn on at the back when the ignition is turned to ON. If those lights come on, then the position lights should come on.

Pull the headlight out and check the connector - there should be +12V on the brown/white wire, using the green wire as ground.
