How big can I go?

Postby garygneiser » Tue Jul 17, 2012 9:06 pm

Hello again,

I ride on some really dark roads and am always on guard for crossing creatures of the night  . How big of a headlight bulb can I go? I have some 60/55 W, will that be ok?

Thanks, Gary

I had 60/55 watt bulbs in mine and ran them with no problem whatsoever.

However, if you REALLY want to put some light out there, go HID. I simply cannot believe the amount of light my HID bulbs put out, and wish I had done this long ago. You can read about it here: GoldwingHID HID headlight kit

Ok, I shall install the ones I paid $50 already for and go from there.
Thanks so much,
Gary
