top shelter and radio

Postby josua60 » Sun Jul 22, 2012 10:19 am

I saw a photo of a 1500 wing with NO radio where the stock unit should be. The piece that was where the radio should be looked factory. Did Honda make a 1500 without a radio and a piece that fit where the radio normally would be? Doing a mod and that piece would really be the ticket. I believe the pic said '91?

Are you sure it was not the rain cover. Mine stays on at all times and I use the controls on handle to switch up.
Check my photo # 33.

You have a 1500 Interstate. They did not have a radio or tape deck.

Opps also forgot, the rear foot rests will be pegs not boards.

1988 Goldwings did not have the different models i.e. interstate, Se, Aspencade. There was only one, and it had all the options. Radio, cassette, stock fader control, rear speakers.

You are correct, but I didn't really explain myself. The 1500 Interstate was produced between 1991 -1996. It had a very basic radio, no tape deck, no intercom, and like I said before the rear foot rests were just pegs and not boards and were not adjustable.

From the picture it looks like an Interstate 1500.
