Markland Backrest on 1500

Postby cbx4evr » Fri Aug 17, 2012 1:03 pm

I'm looking for a backrest and found a used Markland. Just wondering if it's any good and comfortable. I realize everyone is built different. Just looking to find out if there are any obvious design issues.

Iv'e got a Markland and I love how it supports my back.Drawback-when you have a passenger on board you have to take it off. Not a big deal, your passenger is your support, but you have to store it. It does take up a little room., and make sure you either tighten down or store the adjusting knobs or you loose them too.

Thanks. That's what I needed to know. Most times I have a passenger when on the Wing so this one is out. Seeking alternate suggestions that will work. Utopia maybe??

I did have a Utopia on my 1200 and it was a little low but worked ok, really good for the passenger. Most of the time you could leave it in when a passenger was onboard with you, but even if it did bother the passenger it didn't take up much storage space.

I have had the markland for ever and usually have a passenger. Would not go without it.

165,000 and counting
