power wires on front forks

ok this is the issue ... I have 2 wires by the front brake calipers . iwant to attach LED's to the forks so the light emits through the rotor covers (rather than ring o fire) one side works fine when connected the other side when connected exactly the same way blows the accessory fuse any idea's guys

A short some where on that wire??
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

A short or fuse is too small. Ten amp or larger fuse would tell bad wire. Did you try to reverse wires on side that blows fuse.
