Greetings Panel,

I have recently inherited a 1989 GL1500 and am having difficulty located the switch that turns on the foglights. Is there anyone who is familiar with where I might be able to locate the switch or if there is a fuse that needs to be added or changed in the panel? Thanks for any help. MackV

Usually, There would be a seperate switch mounted on a panel. Best to follow the lead from the lights to the termination point. On mine the termination point was on the panel on teh left hand side of the faring about knee level. It is the panel where the factory CB would be. If yours has the CB, just follow the lead from the lights.

Mack -

Are you sure they're fog lights? If you're referring to the rectangular lights down low in front of the cylinder heads, they may simply be the cornering lights. See if they come on when you activate the turn signals....

Some people rewire and repurpose those cornering lights to stay on at all times. You might also want to check to see if a previous owner has added those switches.
