Postby m2102 » Mon Oct 15, 2012 6:51 am

is their a radio that you could switch out the stock am/fm/cb radio and still keep cb and through the stock head set. i saw a post somewhere, cant remember wher,of someone that did a radio mod with a "shroud'" he got on ebay.his set up for the radio i think gave him a cd player as well instead of the casset we now have. does this ring any bells for anyone?it would have to keep the same intercomb system that is on the bike now.any ideas,i no it is a stretch.

The intercom, and the amplifier that drives the headphones, are all built into the main radio. Take out that radio and you lose headphone functionality.

You could ADD another aftermarket radio, and wire it into your main radio to inject a signal that way.

It was a thought wingadmin. Would be nice if you could. The shelter I saw on a forum, don't no where, was angled up and the radio set into it. It took the place of original radio location. If it helps, the shelter was made by someone overseas and sold them on eBay, can't rember his name. I want to say he was from the Ukraine. O well , keep looking I guess
