I have an SE model with reverse & running boards. Has anyone ever mounted floorboards? What brand and how?

Assuming SE means the Wing, not the MT part, as they show that as HT1500 and also assuming, from the description given about the Wing Guards, they are weight bearing(meaning you can "stand on them"), I suggest:
Try removing the foot pegs from your bike and use the foot well area of the Wing Guards for your feet.
Did this on my 1800/Hannigan and after getting use to the shifting/braking am well pleased with a ability to move my feet around into various positions while riding.
Also suggest, if you try this, apply 3M protective film to the upper painted surfaces that surround the foot wells to prevent paint damage!

Roadsmith kit with load bearing running boards. The SE model GL1500 has reverse... Interstate model does not. Thanks
